Some of Aaron's proudest accomplishments

We re-elected Congressman Finstad in November by a margin of 11.55%, the largest since Congressman Gutknecht won re-election in 2004. 18 of CD 1's 21 Counties were delivered to Congressman Finstad, including two Counties previously seen as Democrat strongholds.

Despite a number of internal battles within the Party, I was able to resolve conflicts and bring people together to win big in CD 1, making us the exception to the Democrat wins in Minnesota.

After being elected Chair, I looked at the processes in our Party that have hindered our progress in the past, and either transformed them to become an asset in winning elections, or replaced them with processes that would contribute to our Party's success.

Due to the support from the Party and the hard work of all our endorsed candidates, 100% of CD 1 MNGOP endorsed candidates won their primaries in 2022. This was a huge accomplishment that put our best candidates on the November ballot and set our Party up for future successes.

Due to my new approach towards financially supporting our endorsed candidates, we were able to give a total of $15,000 to 13 candidates in CD 1 that helped them emerge from their primary elections triumphant, and in stronger positions to win in November.

The consensus after our Mankato endorsing Convention was that we wanted a Congressional endorsement to head into the summer with. I snapped into action immediately after our Mankato Convention to make that a reality. We organized an entire CD 1 Convention in only 24 days (a process that usually takes 4-5 months), and it was a success with us leaving with an endorsed candidate and defeating the Democrat (twice).

Since April, I've put over 20,000 miles on my car trveling to Republican events in all 21 of CD 1's Counties. I'm proud to have been a consistently available Chair who puts in the work to be there and be helpful, and that won't change.
